High Grade Metals’ owner David Thumath has been working in New Zealand’s engineering industry for 40 years. He began the business in 2007 as CNC Direct Ltd., in a 100m2 factory in Onehunga, Auckland.
To best utilise his product knowledge and strong supply connections, David diversifed during the Global Economic Crisis in 2009, and High Grade Metals was conceived.
Today, the team of long-serving High Grade Metals employees operates from a 1400m2 warehouse, complete with gantries and purpose-built racking, in Mangere Bridge.
